As of now there is two known of mine is one of them.   I found mine on one of the facebook groups for sale I emailed the seller and made a deal on it.  He strapped it to a pellet and dropped it off at his local fastenal store in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. After waiting a month for it to show up I finely got to take it off the pellet and sit on it! For being a 1961 its in good shape I just need to find the right Lauson V45 4-1/2HP and some new tires.

For anyone who would like to learn more about the Bolens Convertible, scroll through the brochure posted at:

A tiller, a reel mower, a snowthrower, and rotary mower were the attachments available.

Mmmm! Guess you got to be a Bolen's nut to get this??  Don't know what "convertible" really means, but looks kind of clunky and mechanical to me, bet they didn't sell many cause they weren't that good of a contraption.  Just offering the "different" side of the veiw here. :smilewink: :poke: :(

That's quite the find! I like the preserved dusty finish on it. Almost makes you want to leave it that way for a bit.

Way to go Jerome.

Taking into consideration how old this is and the fact that the smaller equipment like this usually got used a lot harder than they were designed for, that looks really good.

Now THAT is rare, Jerome! If that showed up at my house, and I was sitting on it for the first time, I would have a big grin. (You don't look that happy.)
