So about a week ago I was looking at the rotted out seat on my Bolens 5120H. I was lamenting the fact it might cost a small fortune to replace it, especially if I wanted a decent one. On top of all the other things I need to do to it, I really didn't need to add that on top of it. I Thought about how it would be nice to get a seat from a forklift ( I'm a mobile forklift tech ) but sort of dismissed it as a possibility as they rarely come up as a complete unit and if they do, they are usually in such bad shape they are not worth saving. Well, I went into the shop this morning to do my weekly trash toss and restock and what do you think I find staring back at me from the top of the pile in the dumpster? This is a complete and very expensive suspension seat in very good condition. It has two small tears in the vinyl and the lever to adjust the seat back and fourth is broken off. That's it. The adjustment lever is no biggy as I need to make a smaller mount to match the tractor seat mount on my Bolens 5120H anyway. The small tears I will just put black duct tape over for now and it should last a long time considering the use it will get.

When I saw this thing in the dumpster it was like Christmas in September!

You might consider putting some black RTV in the cracks
I have a couple that I've prolonged that way

If you can't fix it with duct tape or bailing wire it ain't worth fixing.

WOW, can't beat that price! It looks like a great seat.
I have a high end commercial mower seat on my Bolens HT23, it looks huge on there but it is great! The seat belt is also nice to have
