Where's your sense of challenge?  Just blow the diagram pic up, then get out the torch.  Do keep the torch away from the diagram though!  Oh well......order it!  :smilewink:

Daniel, we're talking Casey here! He better order it! Not sure if he knows which side is up!

I know it would save me a lot of frustrations by buying.

By the time ya pay shipping, it'll be closer to $50, but still a bargain if it saves a huge headache.

I think that is his best option!

I went to check a lawn n garden auction tonight. There were two Ariens and three mower decks in the junk row. Just so happens, I get to work tomorrow. My luck they will go for scrap prices.

Saw that last night. Took me until this morning to make the decision.

Well, this linkage came but I can't use it... Too new I guess... It interferes with the cylinder hydraulic hoses and if not that it inteferes with the other moving lift linkages in the positions it would be locked into. I need the New Holland version of the linkage (or earlier Ariens) because those linkages were up against the frame... And might be the difference. I can redo my cylinder hydraulic lines (worst two in condition on the tractor) but I hate to take all that apart until... The geyser LOL.

The one you posted and measured in post 3.
I seem to have different room or something... I won't know til I get the gas tank out of the way but I may be looking at it too high at the back, but the hydraulic lines to the cylinder are still in the way and rubbing thru in some places.... How are yours routed?

I am travelling this weekend. I can try to get a pic on Monday. Offhand I am thinking my two are routed the same.

Well, I just can't use that linkage... Seems too short??

Additionally, the "treadle" won't fit right now because the cylinder fittings / hoses are in the way... Ugh... Rerouting required... New hoses will be needed if doing that.

A couple shots of the S-16.

The third pic shows it the best. The hoses just so clear the rocker arm. And you can see the front hose is touching the linkage right now.
