Thanks for the info but I got it all figured out thanks to a friend who happens to have an electrical engineer for a father. Great source. I made a wiring diagram in autocad and saved it as a bmp. Tried posting but I keep getting a message telling me that I cannot upload that type of document.

That needs to be saved as a .jpg (.jpeg) for uploading here.

Sorry but I am going to have to work on the diagram. Have to enlarge things so people can read.

Finally got the electrical and fuel systems worked out. The carburetor had to be rebuilt. Installed new fuel lines, filter, and shutoff valve. I got hardcore and cut my own gaskets for the carb and intake :D I had to add a couple of more diodes to the "Kill Wires". The back-feed and cancel out the coils. The only electrical that I have left is to buy a couple of headlights. I need to edit my drawing and delete the ones that I have posted. How do you delete the photos that have been uploaded? I will get the new diagram made and upload it for now.

I just loaded the new diagram. Labeled "Electrical For Modefied 1975 PK V-Twin". The others can be removed. Thanks.

I did a custom twin command 18hp swap on my 2418. Had to custom make engine mount plate, stretch grill forward 2"s and few other minor adjustments cut the left side of hood out to match the right side for the 2 cylinders to clear runs awesome best modification ever. That single cylinder 18 HP Kohler was the worst engine they ever made.
