Anybody got a pic of free wheel valve on a New Holland S14. Mine popped out and it leaked transmission oil everywhere. Also anybody know parts numbers that I would need to replace?
Thanks

That should be a Vickers hydro. Do you have all the parts? You might be able to redo it with new seals and such. I havent any experiance with them. Anyone?

I would check with the guys parting out tractors. My guess that is where you will find it easiest.

I have this machine now, found another hydro on EPay, have the original one off, about to bolt the replacement on, gotta find my roll of gasket material and make one,  I took off the baling wire and inner tube and the release valve fell right out... I have a tough time believing that the Oring is meant to not only seal the plunger from leaks but also hold it into place... there has to be a E ring or snap ring somewhere, some kind of retainer that is missing though I do not yet see a groove for one on the outside of the casing.

I will look into that more, now that I have it off the machine.

got the replacement hydro in place, pulled (not very hard) on the release and it didn't pop out, the release moves very freely on the replacement hydro... hope it is "that" free once it gets some oil running thru it...

No, I pulled lightly on the plunger in the replacement and I didn't seem like it was coming out I certainly wasn't gonna try to force the issue since that was why I replaced the transmission in the first place.

I really think the retaining clip is in the inside.

if so the plunger is broke off but I see no raw edges on the plunger to indicate that, though I had the same thoughts about it.
