Hi all

This is my challenge for 2015 my friends new build house the garden it was a bit rough when I started but it is coming along nicely

Nice smooth job of breaking. Is he planning on making a stone wall, lol? It is amazing the number of stones that will surface when a field is worked up. Beautiful view.

Lookin good! You're doing a real nice job. Hey oldedeeres,I have often said that rocks are the only thing I can grow in my garden that does well! Hahaha

Hi All

As this is all new ground that will need a lot of work we levelled it off and sowed basic grass seed to keep down the weeds

Over the next few years a plan will be in place as to how it will be in the end

Update on Blair's garden

Seed on bank is starting to show now also seed on big piece of ground is just beginning to show front garden is ready for turf

Update on my challenge

At last finished until next year all the grass seed sown all the turf laid

nice to see it all taking shape at least we know what area we have now at will be looking at the plans for layout next spring

That all looks great!

Man you soil is rocky, our ground is also rocky here in Kansas, but we have larger rock, when putting in a water line, we dug up rocks that were over a 1' thick X 5' X 9' :(
