Hi all,

I need some help identifying an engine.

It is a Kohler, horizontal shaft, of (guessing) late 70's to early 80's vintage.

It has no tags or stickers that I can find.

How can I figure out what this is?

Thanks for looking,

Dave

Post some pics of all around it. If we were clairvoyant, we would all be lottery winners. With clear pics, we can narrow it down. Good Luck, Rick

I guess it did sound like I was looking for some clairvoyant help. (lottery numbers would be nice)

I don't have the ability to post pics

What I was hoping for was something like...

model x has this feature or model y has that feature.

Or some casting number or marking.

Thanks,

Dave

Going to be nearly impossible without pics, many different Kohler engines and spec numbers were made!

1 cylinder 2 cylinder? Magneto ignition ? Coil Ignition?

Try downloading the manuals from the Manuals Section. There are some pics in them. Good Luck, Rick
