A few days ago I picked up a beater Sears tractor. The main reason I bought it was because it had a 15 hp Briggs under the hood. I got the engine running yesterday and got the engine pulled out of the Sears today. The engine didn't want leave it homes and fought me every set along the way. The drive pulley was seized to the shaft. Even after drilling the set screws out the pulley did budge so I had to cut it and split it to free it from the shaft.

Tomorrow I will pull the engine out of the Crusty Monkey and start getting this one ready for it's new home.

The Crusty Monkey is a Simplicity/Allis based tractor. It already has a Briggs in it so there shouldn't be any clearance issues.
