So the Dundas Plowing Match starts tomorrow. I took my 51 Ferguson tractor and two sod plow out, to shine her up and practice a bit. Seemed to work good. If any of you are close by, drop in to the Dundas Plowing Match, in Dundas , PEI, Canada. Lots of things to see and do. This Friday, Saturday and Sunday. August 28 to 30. Antique tractor pulls on Sunday. Up to 14000 lbs. I think. Lawn tractor pulls Saturday afternoon. A good down home country fair, food, displays, animal displays, horses plowing, and oxen plowing too, wife hollering contest, pig scramble, to name a few things to do. Bring the family, camp sites available. Noel.

Noel, it looks like you are ready.

I wish I was close enough, it sounds like a good time.

Forgive my ignorance, but just what in the "H" is a wife hollering contest?

You have piqued my interest.

Sounds like a nice event Noel. I love to watch the antique tractor pulls. Especially a well piloted big JD 2cylinder diesel. Man those engines will pull down to about 1rpm!

Thanks Alan.  I've never heard of wife hollerin.  I have heard the hollering contests.  I kind of like them.
