I grabbed this for free today. It's a 35" square top made from 1/8" sheet! Just needs legs!

Great deal Kenny. I would build a 1 1/2 or 2" table top to fit that steel over it and really make a good heavy table that will hold up anything you put on it.

I thought about that, Brian. I sometimes need a flat spot to put something together. Just need to figure out a good working height for it. I'm 5'8" so don't want it too tall. And sometimes it's better if I can sit and weld.

Kenny that reminds me of the metal top my grandfather had in his garage he would use it upside down when tearing apart transmissions so any small bearings screw ect wouldn't fall on the floor !
