I've got a Meteor 1012 garden tractor with the Chrysler rear end and was thinking of building something with it. Using the frame, rear end and front axle. Using a different engine. Anyone have any ideas?

I think, first of all you need a theme for your custom mower...

I think i would try to find one that's not restorable. That one looks like it would not take much to restore.

Take it as far as you can imagine. The only limit will be you. With the wide seat, it could be stretched and a second seat added. The front could be dropped to resemble a street rod.

I vote for stretching it out and maybe have a built in grill and cooler and a pop up canopy . Have fun. Tom

You can go as far as your imagination will allow.

Put a 318 engine in it. The rear end can handle it.

I was going to ditch all the sheetmetal. I did find a mockup with a hemi.
