I've never seen the almanac predict a mild gentle winter.

Way to early to talk about winter. I didn't even get to enjoy any fall weather yet... Where are the warning points.........😏

I'm ready for this winter. If I survived last winter I think I can survive another one like it. Just have to stock up on gas and stabil.

I don't think I've ever see the Almanac make their prediction this early before. Don't they usually come out at the end of Sept.?

If we get the moisture in the form of snow that we got in rain here through the Midwest we are really in for a deep winter.  They say on the average it takes a foot of snow to make an inch of water.  We have had close to 5" in this area, more close by so far this month.  I think I better have the big equipment ready to go.

Same with us. I think we have had close to 20 inches of rain since spring and that would add up to a bunch of snow. The moisture is a good thing but over 200 inches of snow is something to think about.  :biting_nails:

How's about we ground him for the winter, and make him stay home? If he wants to talk about it in August, he should damn well have to live it in January.

We've had a very wet summer here as well, has started drying the last couple of weeks but we did get 2.5 inch downpour mid week.

Your too late. If you go back and reread the minutes of the meetings for Feb. and March, you'll remember we lost our privileges and had to turn in our keys to the cabin. You've got me for the winter; jokes, stick pokes, cat calls and all.
