Wasn't sure where to put this. I noticed my wheelbarrow would just fit under the chipper/shredder discharge chute and had a bunch of onion tops and sugar snap pea vines to shred so rigged this piece of OSB to fit around the chute and fastened some pieces of 1x2 around the outside of the tub to hold it in position. Worked great!! Now I can spread them around in the garden and not have stuff getting all wrapped around the tine shafts when I till.shredder 001 (Small).JPG

Nice way to keep everything in the wheelbarrow . Also like how you have the chipper attached to the tractor!

Thanks, Al. It's mounted there for two purposes, it's further off the ground for chipping & shredding and in the fall I remove the shredder chute and hook a deck chute w/ 8" hose attached to it to connect to the shredder intake. then a 7" hose is attached to the discharge to blow fall leaves into a little tlr fully enclosed w/ sunscreen and a full opening gate in the rear. By the time the leaves have gone thru the deck and shredder they're real fine to till into the garden and greenhouse. I'll try to remember to take a pic of it this fall and post it.

Neat way to keep it all where you want it. Now I have another item to add to the list of wants.

Good plan, nice use if tools.
Why the board, again? Couldn't just shooting it into the wheelbarrow have worked?

Mh81, this type of chipper/shredder creates one heck of a draft, so the board is needed so 1/2 of the material shredded doesn't wind up all over the lawn. It's why I use it as a vac fan for leaf pickup.
