Does anyone have a schematic or picture of the Drive belt assembly for the Ford lgt 120?  I just acquired one and we want to make sure the belt is on it correctly. Thanks in advance.

Jennifer

Welcome to GTT. Do you have an early(open sided) or a late(closed sided) LGT? The earlier were made by Jacobsen and the later by Gilson. Either are very good garden tractors. Please post pics to clarify. Good Luck, Rick

Rick, the closed sides were also Jacobsen units! Gilson was after 1983!

Jennifer, welcome to the forum. Have you got a model # for this tractor?

I'll get the model number when I get home from work. I know it's a Jacobsen for sure. The couple I got it from thought it is a 1968, but I haven't been able to check it out yet.

If its a 68, its not an LGT....Does it say LGT120 on the hood?....If so, its probably a 72-76.....Here is a diagram for these

I apologize. I guess it was a senior moment. Good Luck, Rick

There are several different 120's, so a model # is the best way to figure it out. If you have a pic, post it. Check the link in my signature for help with those!

Model # 53250 serial? # 3295. Is it a 1968? (I looked it up on here but I'm a little confused) It's not a Jacobsen either is it? I'm looking for the drive belt schematic or picture for the engine. 😊

I would say it is a 1968! I can't say my list is perfect also. The pics aren't that clear in this manual, but gives a drive belt adjustment on page 15.
