I will again host the annual "Garden Tractor Trail Ride" at the farm near Bethany, MO on September 19th, weather permitting.  We have a carry-in dinner at noon with an approximately one hour ride around the farm afterwards.  All brands of garden & small tractors are welcome, contact me with your address for a flier with directions.

Nonsense, everyone looks good on a Gravely. It's also a testament to their intelligence level. (but is was nice of Lowell to put that photo before the picnic table shot, so I didn't make assumptions)

Just one more week!!!

Been out there mowing today & worked on the road a little, if the road's muddy, we can come in through the hay field!

I've been loading the 16' trailer for the "Garden Tractor Trail Ride" Saturday, 314 & 70 I, tables, canopies & cooking/meal supplies. I have one more sign to put up tomorrow (between rains).  1159.JPG    Saturday looks to be a nice day at 74* & clear, the ride is on!

Small group this year, seven tractors & our Gator, but I think everybody had a good time:  Tractor Shows 2015 001.JPG  Tractor Shows 2015 002.JPG    Tractor Shows 2015 035.JPG  Tractor Shows 2015 024.JPG  Tractor Shows 2015 031.JPG  Tractor Shows 2015 035.JPG  Tractor Shows 2015 040.JPG  Tractor Shows 2015 041.JPG

Thanks again to Kris for bringing the Gator home, saving me a couple hours & 60 miles driving!!!

Another wonderful time with some old friends and some new ones.

Thank you Lowell for a great day!

cruise 15-2.jpg

The sun was out

the weather was great

though the number of drivers

was only 8

with lunch devoured

til our tummies may burst

we unloaded our toys

for cruising we had a thirst

our most gracious host

led the entire pack

women in the Gator

followed in back

the brand of tractor

made no mind

everyone was there

for a good time

cruising in open field

cruising in timber

the tractors didn't care

they were just getting limber

around the bean field

and down by the pond

it was follow the leader

til our drive was gone

with tractors in line

for a quick photo shoot

we explained our treasures

and spent sums of loot

with extended travel times looming

and chores waiting back home

the tractors were loaded

and then they were gone

We'll be back next year

on that you can invest

'cause Lowell's tractor cruise

is known to be the VERY BEST
