Fonz, is that your add on Buffalo craigslist?[/quote

Yes it is. I figured I'd try and see if anyone in the area had something, nothing yet.

The one in the pics is long gone... worth scrap price IMO

No rear hitch, no good air cleaner, no good tank , no good hood , wrong carburetor ect, ect.

You'd end up spending $1000+ finding the OEM parts to replace the rotted ones that are on there ......

I have a RAM that needs a motor I would sell.  Long ways to get it or have it shipped though.  I has another motor on an extended frame that drive it now.  Overall the tractor is in decent shape and have used it some to make sure all was well.  Has a 6hp Briggs with recoil on it.  If interested I can post a couple pics of it.

He wasn't interested in my tractor but he sure went after the front deck.  Was glad I could help him out as I was not interested in the deck necessarily.  Not into the restoration bit.  Just make them look decent and good running tractors.

Yea, your pretty far away and I'm sure shipping would kill me on sending a whole tractor. I would travel in ny state, pa, and ohio if I had too. I drove 6 hrs into ohio to buy my 1000.

Patrick.

Seems like a lot of these machines are held to be auctioned off. A month ago there were like 3 or 4 on craigslist, but 2 of them had non original motors and one was restored a few years back and had no attachments for $800, and all of them were about 5hrs from my house. I watched the restored tractor for a few weeks and saved up some more money. I was gonna off $600 and hope he'd take my offer, and it sold on me!

I drove 13 hours round trip to pick up a G16 with a disc and de-thatcher a couple months ago.  Worked out good.  $125 for the equipment plus trip cost.  New starter in the Briggs and carb cleaning and it was up and running.

I used to not mind driving all over for stuff. I'd make a little weekend trip out of it for me and my wife, but now we have a 4 1/2 month old little guy, and we already found out that 4hrs is about his limit in his car seat at on time.

A guy responded to my craigslist add about a RAM he saw in a scrap yard. It has a deck, but no motor. Its in Ohio, so someone should save this RAM. I need a complete tractor to start off with, but maybe someone can use this RAM and save it from the crusher. Here is the info he sent.

***There is one in a scrap yard in Middlefield OHio It may be bury If you
are interested Call Honest Scales Recycling It also had mower but no motor***

I looked up the place and here is the info on it.

He didn't really say what year it was, what is shown above is exactly what he sent me. If interested in it give the scrap yard a call and see if they can get you some info. If I travel to go get a RAM with no attachments and I'm going through that area, I may grab that RAM also on the way home if its still available and its the right year so I have spare parts, and the mower deck.
