Has anyone had contact or dealings recently with Brian Miller?

I ordered some parts and sent my camshaft to be re-ground back in May and I'm still waiting.  He said to allow 2-3 weeks for the camshaft, but it's been almost 3 months.  I've emailed and called several times, but have gotten no response in the last month and a half.

Just wondered is anyone else has had similar experiences.

I've dealt with Brian before and they never let things go like this so this does concern me a little.  They actually had very good communication.  Hope everything is ok.

Yes, Brian Miller of tractor pulling fame.  I have bought parts from him before with no problem.  This is the first time I've had him do a camshaft.

That doesn't sounds like him, he used to be pretty active and on top of things.

He used to reply to a lot of topics on the Yahoo Tecumseh group.

I have never had him do any work for me but I have ordered from him a few times and never had an issue like that. A couple of years ago I had talked to him about resizing a Kohler rod to take a bearing shell much like a car engine would but found a genuine Kohler one for a price that I couldn't pass up so I did that instead.
And the last time I ordered from him was more recent than you sent your cam in to him.

I sent my K301 crank and rod to him to be machined for bearing inserts.

Work was top notch, no issues. He's a busy guy so it may take slightly longer but he lives and breathes these things so expect quality workmanship.

Maybe awhile till you hear anything from him.

A little birds been flying around saying he's doing some "time" away. Don't ask, that's all I know...

I just looked at his pulling website and apparently it was updated at the end of June this year.  I guess that doesn't mean he did it but someone is keeping things going.
