I'm gonna need more photos before I can bid the cleanup and grading.

Why are you insulting our upstanding Michigan members? Aside from adding moisture to every storm that's heading your way, Roger, Josh, Jerome, Don, and company did nothing to deserve such a harsh rebuke.

Us Minnesotans throw spitwads at every PA plated automobile we see, however.

I would blame spell check... but it's probably a lack of proper education...

That was a lot of work, but I bet it was fun too. I've always liked doing spring work that involved getting the water flowing and moving out of the yard. How tough are the gov't. regulations on draining water in your part of the country? Up here it's getting so that you hardly dare walk across a field with a hoe in your hand before someone "in authority" is on your case because someone downstream figures the water should go somewhere else or stay where it is, regardless of the natural lie of the land.

The In-place SCS plan is an insulation to that kind of issue for the most part.  They are existing ditches that we are just doing upkeep on.
By their being restricted, it was going to cause soil erosion and potential watershed contamination.  this way, the runoff is being properly routed thru a grasses area, then thru two holding ponds before entering a waterway.

While waiting for PA One Call to come, I flagged the area and put up a sign so no one could miss it...

I hated dealing with PA one call.  They could never find where you needed them.  You had a great idea there, I'm sure they didn't driveby more than 3 times!

I don't think any of them showed up.
I got a bunch of emails like "Our records indicate that no utilities blah blah blah"
I think I was one called by computer records
