Here's a few pics of Steve's little MTD LT We have no idea of the model # as it has been scratched off. Looks to be an 8 HP B&S. He got it running yesterday and it just purrs. It needs and air filter, flywheel shroud and a battery. If anyone can help out with a model #, that would be a big help. May need to do some wiring repairs to it.

We need to turn the exhaust elbow so the hood will close.

Cute. I would call it a small GT because the engine is horizontal shaft and the rear wheels bolt on. If you were nearby you could look through the group of shrouds I have spread out through my garage. There is atleast one 8 hp vert shaft cover(which may fit). It looks the same era as my 1969 1200 MTD. I will look in the catalog when I go down stairs. Good Luck, Rick

Thanks, Mike! I checked out that thread and also the link in there for the manuals. Tried several different combinations, and found none to match the ones S/G belt adjustment bracket. Gonna have to search more!

On the engine #'s, his 'No Name' tractor has the same engine. So that one's #'s are as follows:

Model          Code            Type

190402     78092912       1515  01

Below that was a decal with D-135199
