Hi All,

New member here from Mass with a new (to me) MF16 joining an IH 782 in the fleet.   The MF had an older, amateur restoration which I started to redo and the IH is a low hour, all original machine.

As you can see the MF has a non original muffler which works well enough, but I plan to do something closer to original or at least get the exhaust a little further away from the intake.

Looking forward to using the forum.

Welcome.

Those looks to be two nice tractors, a couple I would like in my collection.

Pics would be nice of that jewel in the background also, IH?

Thanks all.

Tahoe, the vehicle in the background is an old Series Land Rover and the one in front of that is a couple years newer diesel.    Old 4x4's are my other hobby.   Looks like yours also.

Welcome to the forum, a couple of nice tractors there, my dad has a 782 that does all of our mowing, as well as some of the light work on the farm.

Thanks, Does your 782 have the Series I or II motor?  With all the bad press on the S I motor, I keep waiting for mine to go pop....hasn't yet :smilewink: .

Never saw the exhaust coming out on that side of any Massey before. What are you planing to do with the exhaust. Would be better on that side. Easier to keep tight.
Nice tractors. Don't much about the cub cadets, I have Masseys. Always looking for a international cub cadet, in my price range!! Noel.

Looks like the MF is well deserving of getting a redo. Welcome to GTTalk.

The 782 is one of my favorite IH models, it's got a very beefy look without being a huge tractor. My former BIL has a 782D that is just a joy to mow and till with.
