Trying to figure out the year of this lawn tractor. I looked all over it for a model number and there are none. All I know is that it is a MTD Ranch King, it has a 12hp Tecumseh ohv 5 speed 38 inch deck. Thats about all I know.. if anyone needs more info, please ask. Here are some pics, thanksPosted Image

did you check in the back under seat ? looks like early 80's

Yes, I've looked at every square inch. Theres nothing. I've search up and down the net and have seen a few that are real close to this model, but I haven't found the exact.

I can't see the engine model number clearly, but you should be able to dial the year in with 1 by dating the year of manufacture of the engine.

i did not find my serial num till i stripped my massey i was so happy when i found it it was tucked up under dash on the frame support for dash lol

The engine model and serial numbers will get you within a year or so
