Was looking through craigslist and found a fellow with a swisher unit for an atv for $100.00. Could not pass it up for that price. I have hydraulics on my PK 1612 but went with a winch just to free up the hydraulics. Used a combination of the swisher mount and a factory PK mount. This thing will fill the bucket with gravel and haul it anywhere. I carried 7 tons of #57 150 feet down hill and into my garage in 5 hours. Had a blast.

When I went to pick the unit up the guy told me that he gave 375.00 for it. I couldn't build the bucket for the price that I gave for the entire thing. Later I plan on using the bucket for a fel on the same PK.

I paid $200 for mine with the a ATV backbone style mount included, like you I used a combo of tractor and Swisher parts. They're great units, mine lifts to 36".

Nice tool, great price.
Looks really nice on there. How did you put the winch on?

I have a homemade front bucket with a winch lift. I have moved tons of gravel, dirt, mulch and goat poop. Saved my back and was worth the $75 I paid for it.

I just made a mount for the winch and bolted it to the front bumper. A couple of plug welds would fill the holes in the bumper to restore it.
