I met my son at the Pageant of Steam show on this past Saturday.  It's near Canandaigua NY.  I always try to make it because they have steam engines of all sorts.

There was a garden tractor pull going on while we were there.  It's not my cup of tea, but while I was watching for a short while, the smallest contestant I'd ever seen competed.  Here he is:

Here are some of the GT's I saw there.  This year's theme was Ford.  On the whole, I don't think there were as many of any kind of tractors as usual.  Most of the GT's come every year.

I really go for the Steam Engines, the sawmill, shingle shop, and Steam Tractors.  It's a great little show.IMG_1274.JPG IMG_1275.JPG IMG_1276.JPG IMG_1277.JPG IMG_1278.JPG IMG_1279.JPG IMG_1329.JPG IMG_1324.JPG IMG_1285.JPG IMG_1284.JPG IMG_1279.JPG

Thanks for the coverage.

The missus and I go to a couple of shows a year. She goes to hang with me and stock up on jams, jellies and salsa's. I go to see the machines.

While our shows have a seemingly never ending supply of ancient iron, including the steam and beautifully restored equipment of all types, the garden tractor side hasn't been touched at any of them.

I love to see the old GTs represented.

Looks like a great show. Isn't it amazing how they keep that old equipment running, some of it around the century mark. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I wore my GTtalk hat, but didn't see any other GTtalk stuff.

Al, I'll look in the photo files from years before.  That tractor is usually there every time I go.
