Officially hit 105* here at 5:20pm, and everyone wants me to do burgers and dogs on the grill, to hot to cook in the house. Oh, and the House A/C only starts cycling around 2-3 am (when it gets into the 80's) then back on  constant at 8:00.  Come On November.

Well it hit 90 today with 60 percent humidity and was enough to chase me out of the garden pulling weeds.

We are lucky to hit 90f here and have been close to that lately with high humidity and thunder storms in the night. I can't imagine 105F.

"only" 98 °F in northern hesse, the hottest point in D yesterday was 104 °F (40,3 °C) - normally we have 75 - 80 °F in summer!

Forecast here doesn't look good for a while, but back in 2011 we had three consecutive Months of over 100* temps, Drought and wildfires were the norm.

From the local weather guessers.

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory until 7:00 PM Monday. Dangerous heat is expected over the next few days, with Heat Index values ranging between 105-110°

You think it is hot now? It only gets hotter through the weekend and into next week. Highs are expected to be around 104 by Monday, pushing heat index values to 110 degrees! Take it easy in the heat. Make sure you are staying hydrated and wearing sun screen.

No relief is in sight through next week as summer makes up for a slow start.
