Wondering if anyone knew what paint manufacturer DB used in59. I believe the original color was nugget gold and electric blue wheels and white grill but there seems to be several variations of nugget gold. Also looking for a fuel tank and belt guard.

I used "antique gold" on mine from ace hardware. You can see pics at "before and after david bradley suburban"
The wheels I did with left over panzer teal.
Fuel tanks look on ebay most have pinholes and you need to solder and seal.
I made my own belt guard. Copied from photos and there are plans on the Internet somewhere. it was pretty simple if you have a break and holesaws

For mine - and this is just me - I found that right now available at WalMart is 'Island Splash'  semi gloss blue spraycan for the rims and attachments - a dead match for the original color and 'Flake gold' engine high temp Spray can for the Gold (any auto parts store). I Was a color matcher for a leather co. and these are nearest I could find . Basically Dead- On to original. And I looked all over town at all options.
