It's a list of things you want to do before you "Kick the Bucket" ( pass away)

I want to stop globe trotting and spend a lot more time on hobbies like fishing, hunting, and building things.

nice story, but what's a bucket list?

It originated with a movie titled The Bucket List starring Jack Nicholson.

Glad to hear you got to get out and relax.

I don't have a lot, just seeing God's creation. I would love to go to Niagra Falls, Grand canyon, and Hawaii. Not sure if any will ever happen, but maybe someday.

I think the term "bucket list" was around long before that movie ever came out.

Maybe the GT Talk Investigative, Research and Noon Hour Volleyball Team can check into that and report back.

(a phrase in use since at least 1785) in the book Unfair & Unbalanced: The Lunatic Magniloquence of Henry E. Panky, by Patrick M. Carlisle. That work includes the sentences, “So, anyway, a Great Man, in his querulous twilight years, who doesn’t want to go gently into that blacky black night. He wants to cut loose, dance on the razor’s edge, pry the lid off his bucket list!”

Been used a long time according to an internet search.  Got my interest up for some reason...

I haven't really thought about what I'd like to do before kicking the bucket.  My life has been an odd adventure, as I am sure it is for everyone.  Many things I never wanted to do but have turned out to be the greatest things I have done.

Maybe as I get older I'll think about it more.  I am still working towards my mid life crisis!

My longtime goal is likely never going to be attained?
I have wanted to have enough money to be considered eccentric instead of weird.

I'd really like to drive across this Great Nation of ours in a modest camper with my wife. Stay off the highways as much as possible, and take our time looking around.
