I was able to finally go to DFW this week and got to spend some time away from work with Dad. The best part of the trip was getting to meet fellow GTtalk member Matts, and his family.
I have to tell you guys that Matt is one of the FINEST MEN, I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I can't tell yall how much fun it was running around with him up in his neck of the woods. Matt has a very nice family, and his son is going to be a real Gt man when he grows up. I can't thank Matt and his family enough for Welcoming my Dad and I into their home. I really enjoyed our time together. Thanks for everything Matt !!!

Brian, I am glad you, your dad and Matt all got to meet up. It is always nice when you get to put faces to a name. I am looking forward to this year's tractor shows because now that the site has somewhat established itself it people will recognize us and it will be easier to meet new people too.

Thanks Daniel.
I was wondering what Didn't ____ Work...

Brian, Very Glad you got to meet another GT'er. I hope to have that pleasure in a couple of weeks. So far, the only GTTalk members I have met in person, I knew before I joined GTTalk.

Good for you Brian. I understand meeting new friends, and I can really understand spending quality time with your Dad! Many people don't think of this during the years they have together, and don't make the effort, but once the opportunity is gone...it's GONE! i think it's always fun to meet others of like mind and like interest, and you can usually tell by interaction over the forum whether it's a person you can hit it off with. Wish we all had more opportunities to do this! Now...tell us your plans for all that hardware you picked up!!!!

I agree that meeting people on here is pretty cool. I haven't done it myself, but all the posts I read about seem pretty amazing. It almost seems that there is a unique quality about the people on this site that brings us together...more than just our love of old rusty GT's. :-)
