It would appear that on the last models of large frame they used 3 identical 6 post ( 2 contact) solenoids -one for PTO. If a drive closed contact goes bad it's position could be changed with the PTO unit .Haven't done it yet but something to keep in mind.

Hi all! those 6 post contactors are Prestolite SBD 4301 @ 36VDC rated @ 100amps continuous and good for 50,000 cycles; when testing insure installing a diode ( 6 amp@50VDC-rating ) across the coil terminals ( small ones ) using proper polarity with the diode. Prestolite products are now sold through Amatek. Somethimes, even when bench testing shows continuity between the upper set of terminals. under load, they don't always work due to burned contacts in the contactor.
