We'll to day after a 4.5 hr drive to SD I came home with another mf10 (that makes 4 since May). Much to my surprise it's year #1 1966. Serial 3522 about half way through the production yr. thing is When I went after it for the mower deck which is pretty ruff. I was thinking of parting it out because no motor and really bad shape.
But now being a first yr production machine I don't know. I am keeping the metal dash and front head light housings.
Any thoughts on this......

If you're keeping the aluminum pieces, there isn't much left of big value.
I suppose you could offer the serial tag up for a guy doing a restoration and doesn't have one...
How's the steering wheel?
Any accessory parts or hitch pieces?

Pictures might help us help you decide.

Is being the first year really significant?

The MF10 seems to be coveted a little more if its a 66
Not worth much or any more, not exactly worlds apart except for 3 or 4 little things

We just get a little more excited over the first ones for some reason
