Well, it runs, but only at half choke right now. Been nearly a year since I had it running, so that was expected. I'll fiddle with it some. That muffler sure sounds good on there!

Here's a few pics from this morning. I hope you folks like the dash, the camera doesn't do it justice. Maybe when I get it out side you can really see it.

I went back out and ran it some more. Before starting, I removed both mixture screws and squirted some carb cleaner down in there. Reset them to factory specs and it fired right up, but still with choke. Let it run some at about 1/4-1/3 throttle. then I started opening the main screw and I was able to push the choke in. Kept messing with it and I finally had the choke all the way open and it suddenly started running like it should. A little more tweaking on the mixture screws and I had it idling real low. The gas does have some Sea Foam in it. It sure starts very easily, don't think it makes a full revolution before taking off. I'll see what it does in the morning. If it's still doing well, I'll fill the hydro and hook up the drive shaft.

Oh yeah, it's not charging. Only 5 volts AC from the stator. 0.37 DC volts out of the regulator.

I'm not sure where I was when you started this build but I'd like to say you did a great job on this its so clean looking. Once its done it'll look like a factory built machine. Where did you pick up the rear tires I'd like a set for my 110?

The rear tires and wheels are Cub Cadets, possibly off a 129 or 149. It surprises me they don't need tubes!

So far I have parts from:

Allis Chalmers

Ford

Sears

MTD

Cub Cadet

It has been a job keeping it 'neat' looking. Lots of time spent just looking at what I wanted to do next and how that would affect the overall appearance. I started this late July when I brought the tractor home. Been an every day occurrence since then.

Are you going to mount an external alternator or repair what you have ?   That's a cool dash too :worshippy1:

Not sure at this point. All I need the battery for right now is starting it and it fires right up. May look around for a stator, wonder if one from a K341 would fit it?

I just checked part #'s on the stators and the 15 Amp stator is the same between the M18 & the K341, so I have a stator.

I Pulled things apart and found the flywheel magnets stuck around the stator. I think that may be why it's not charging! Check here.

While I was waiting for someone to help lift the engine out this morning, I got most of the fluid in the hydro. So once I get it fired up tomorrow and put the rear end on jack stands, I'll put the drive shaft in and start working air out and see what adjustments are needed for the Fwd/Rev pedal. Getting close to the first ride!

Since I have the charging issue fixed, I hooked up the drive shaft and worked the air out of the system. Next I jacked it up and checked the foot pedal 'neutral'. It was just a tad off. With that done, it was time for the first ride on Alice. Here's a video of that!

Sounds and looks good Kenny!   Couple more days and she'll be complete.     That is one nice view out the front yard you have.
