I've been given a little rear engine riding mower. It has the 9 hp Kawasaki engine. It's a GX75. I'm used to my older 1 cylinder Kohler's liking thick oil for summer. I use 20w50. Is the same recommended for this Kawasaki?

I use 10w-30 in any thing I have. We had a debate about oil a few months ago. I use to use 30w in summer, then 10w-30 in winter. Got tired of trying to figure out what put in, at what time of year. So I went 10w-30 for every thing. At all times of year. Some manuals say to use 10w-30 if 30 is not available. You will have to look at manuals. Noel.
