Do any you out there know what type of hydraulic fluid to use an a L-12 front end loader ?

here's some specifications for it but not what type oil. tells you how much it needs tho.

SAE30 was spec...I use 10W30. Same as hydraulic lift used on these tractors.

Thank you guys is it SAE10w30 motor oil and you where right talntedmrgreen it takes a breather on the top of the hydraulic tank i still getting oil out from there when i lower the bucket so im thinking i got the wrong oil i was using john deer hydraulic oil is foaming a lot when it returns to the tank thank you for all your help !

Foam is deifintely the enemy...will make a mess and your pump will cavitate and wear prematurely.

Foam means you have air getting into the system!
