Ok, so I go to the barn and take the cover off the tri-trac.

It hasn't been run since last fall, Labor Day festival.   I did shut the fuel off

and ran the carb dry before parking it.

It fired right up, but will only run a short time at partial throttle, with 3/4 choke.

I figure the carb is gummed up from the residue left inside it?

It's a Zenith carb on a Wisconsin ACN engine.

It also has a slight leak of fuel from the T handle on the front of the bowl.

Ive never had a Zenith carb apart, is that T handle a fuel shut off or the main

jet adjustment?

Oh , yeah,  the air cleaner  is real cute, too.....http://gardentractor.../47156-butcher/

Those Wisconsins are great engines, and are nearly bullet proof

Your carb should be the one below, let me know if you need any parts along the way or more info

#34 in the list is your main jet

Back out the main jet screw about 1/4 to a 1/2 turn. Get it running, rev it up, and choke it hard. After it runs a while you will probably need to turn it back in a little.

Cleaned up the zenith carb, here it is partly reassembled.  More new parts in the bags
