Here`s a Moto-Boy by Moto-Mower with a cast iron Briggs engine that I just found. I`ve seen a lot of the older Moto-Mowers around here, but I`ve never seen a Moto-Boy before. It`s No. M46-17968, could anyone tell me what year it is? I`d also like to know what model Briggs the engine is, there`s no tag on it, I`m thinking a Model N variant, but I`m not sure. Also wondering how rare, or common, these are. Thanks!

Thanks for the patent date info Cootertom, I was figuring that it was made in the 1940`s, and it looks like I was correct. My big question is now, how scarce is this thing? It`s the first Moto-Boy I`ve seen in my 35 years of collecting, maybe they weren`t real popular here in New England. I cleaned the points, put gas in it, and it started on the 2nd pull, not bad for something that hasn`t run in many years!
