OK this is something I have been thinking of doing for a while, finally took a picture and figured I'd get it out there. Some states make it easy and some don't, but how many of you have "vanity" plates on your car/truck, something that you chose to put on the plate that means something to you, a reference to your work, hobby, passion, family, Bible verse or? NH makes it easy and not too expensive to create your own plate and I have had a few different ones, this is my current and favorite one. I would
be interested to see if any of you garden tractor folks have or have had one too??

I don't myself, but had an acquaintance with a very fast motorcycle. He got "WVVWVW" or close to that, so it would be hard to catch his plate when he was speeding... Ah, the immortality of youth...

in IL it use to be the same price to get a personalized plate, which still had to follow the format of at most 7 letters and 1 number on a car and 5 letters and 1 number on a truck, A few years ago they raised the personalized plate cost around $20. True Vanity plates are crazy expensive. Since at the time I got my truck plates the cost was the same as state issued numbers I have a fishing related plate. a shortened version of Tackle box.

I had one that was very expensive here in NY. I gave it up when money got tight after the divorce. It was a combination that indicated I was an Eagle scout.

I should have said BS (boyscout) but it could also represent barnyard waste that reminds people of bad situations. And I can't believe I am explaining it except for maybe too many letters first time ,oh well still new to online humor WTF.

George, there actually was a plate like that I think in Ohio. don't remember all the details but it was the initials for their family tree farm. Seems like they had it for 20-30 yrs and were being denied reinstatement. It was on the news probably about a year ago.
