help with throttle linkage on David Bradley Big 5

How does the throttle cable attach to the linkage to the carb?  The prior owner used a "c" clamp to attach the throttle wire to the alum block linkage to the carb.   No details in manual for 917575100.  Thanks.

From the looks of things I would say it fits through the hole side to side with a screw anchoring it from the top.

Nxt2doc had the answer. Someone sent me a B&S manual showing all the various linkages used on the engine. I found it there. Bending the throttle cable 90 degrees to go into the block is not going to win any engineering awards, but it worked.
