Just like the title says after I sold my road grader I went looking for another project to do. After just a little searching I found this uploadfromtaptalk1437623485924.jpg its a 1959 international R-190. When I got it the engine was stuck but it had diesel sitting in the cylinders for at least ten years. After we got it out of the hole it made in the 30+ years it had been sitting we got it on the road heading home and found it has no clutch but it broke free easy. Once home we started getting stuff to see if it would run and after two hours it was driving under its own power. Still a lot to be done I need the air filter bottom and the battery box cover plus see if the fuel pump works. uploadfromtaptalk1437623964792.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1437623975798.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1437623986664.jpg It has a 450 straight six powering this beast coupled to a 5 and 4 transmissions plus air brakes all the way around that surprisingly function more pics to come

That is a clean IH you picked up. Not surprising seeing you are in Utah. Very nice score.

Real nice! I can't believe it sat for 30years and is still in that condition. Is a 450 a 450CI 6? That's a big 6!!

Yeah! If that had been here in PA there wouldn't have been much left of it..

Yes that's 450 ci they also made a 501 for these trucks. I have been debating on whether to leave the gas engine in or find a diesel to put in it. Here is another pic of it uploadfromtaptalk1437687559763.jpg

It's a 15 x 7.5 bed so it should hold a few I plan on changing it to a steel bed with a dove tail

I'd go with swapping in a diesel, my dad drove a gas job in PA in 2006,2007, and 2008, got about 2mpg the diesels were getting 6-8mpg.

2mpg? My gosh. You'd give a Prius owner a heart attack!

Nice truck but if you are planning on putting it to use the Red Diamond will need 4 mpg when hauling....downhill.  I would repower with a 466DT.,,,10mpg or better but then you also have to change gear ratios in axle...so you have to decide how committed you are...good luck!

Parts are available but not real common for the Red Diamond. I see older diesel powered S-lines frequently cheap and less work to roll a complete chassis and drive train under your existing body...JMHO
