Rislone is an excellent cleaner. Used it many times.

I use lucas products and have always been very happy with them. Had an old chevy truck that was developing a very noisy engine.  I used a quart of lucas engine oil treatment and never heard anther tick.

40 years ago I used Rislone to  flush an engine that I swear had never had a oil change..oilers kept clogging up and then the valves would start to clatter.   The Rislone cleared things up and I have given every used engine a Rislone flush since. I have never bought into all the snake oils on the market. Those additives are already in most oils. I recall the ads from years ago about how Slick 50 made old engine run like new..amazing..engine rebuild in a can!

I have used Rislone, but not recently, and I liked it. MMO I still use every week on/in something or other. I put some in the gas on my GT. Another product from years ago was Wynns friction proofing. I wonder if that's what was used in the engines that used to be at the county fairs running with no oil pan on it. Whatever they were selling I never did buy any.
