I was at a swap meet last month and while walking through there I found a plow colter for my 10 inch Brinley on my Model A Panzer.

It was just a ball of rust laying on the ground with $10 on it. I bent over and picked it up and the lady said " Five Dollars". Couldn't get my wallet out fast enough.

Now my tractor is complete.

Will see if I can get a good pic. Right now it's on the trailer with the wife's Model A. If I can't get a good pic now, will get one at this weekends show in Brooks, Oreegun and post it next week.

BTW, it did clean up well. Spent 3 days in the electrolysis tank and then the wire wheel and finally paint (rattle can).

Wow. It's been almost a year that you have been looking hasn't it? I'm still looking for one also for a friend of mine, no luck so far. You may have gotten the last one on earth. Ya never know when luck will find you! Tom

They are out there. I have a list of 10 or more that are scattered around the area for sale. They want too much for them so they can keep them...for now. I'll wait them out. The market sky rocketed on these and many other garden tractors. Everyone thinks their machine is worth $700+ not running and sometimes not even complete. Some people are nuts!

Here are some pics on the trailer and the colter.

I've actually been looking for about 3 years, just in earnest on line for a little over a year.

If the woman at the swap meet only knew what I was willing to pay  for that item, she would be saying a few bad words right about now.

The truth is, now that I have found one, I will probably see them everywhere. If I do, I will snatch them up and let you guys know. I did see one at a yard sale last summer that was still attached to a plow (I think it was for a Ford garden tractor). It was there with a lot of attachments that I couldn't use, but I was willing to buy everything just to get the colter. Lucky for me it was already sold.

Thanks to all of the positive comments on the tractors. I have been collecting tractors  for almost 40 years and I never dreamed that I would end up with a tractor this rare, much less 2 of them. At one time I had 7 full sized tractors mostly red ones. I lucked into these 2 tractors and didn't even know how rare they were until I had my first one. It's a lot of fun to take these to shows and have people say " I've never seen one of these before". I reply with "there's a reason for that" and then explain how rare they are and why.

I'm heading out this afternoon to pick up another T758ES. I'll put some pictures of it up on a new thread once I get it. The large frames are VERY hard to come by. The small frames pop up pretty frequent.

I actually know where there is another model A out here on the left coast. The person that has it won't give me a price.

We are leaving for a show in the morning about 250 miles away one way.
