My wife called me a hoarder today.

I was organizing my stuff in the garage today. In my cabinet in the back have several garden hoses, a few extra motors(6), boxes of parts(4), 2 buttercup lawn boy decks(perfect shape) 2 bench grinders and a slew of other goodies in plastic totes.

Plus in front of the cabinet I have my 99 Ford Ranger that I am saving for something...really unsure what to do with it. Runs great and drives like new. Haven't driven it in 2 years.

Then under the sunroom crawl space I have 4 lawnboys, 5 minibike frames and 2 50" cub decks. Then the back shop has 2 go karts. A cub 128 that is tore apart(2 years) and a few other projects that I haven't messed with.

But my "hoard" as she calls it has to be thinned out.

Should I stand my ground or sell a few things? I did sell the PK for 1800 yesterday. Maybe that will appease her...

Karl, tell my Wife that and she'ld be on phone!  She already threatened to do that when I croak, no keeping, or sorting or sales, just the scrap guy's number!   I told here to get on this list or the MM list and have fellas sort out all the piles of parts to make sure they go to right tractor. NAAHHH! All fit in the scrap bins the same, any color or shape, ha!

Regular cab, short box, 4 cylinder, 2x4, 5 speed.

At one time the truck was my daily driver. Then it went to my move stuff truck when i bought another vehicle. Now I have a daily driver truck again and I don't need it.

I had big plans. 3/4 drop kit,built 302, 9" rear end.

Actually have the 302 and a c4 transmission sitting in the corner of the shop. Along with the suspension upgrades.

One day maybe. Kind of lost interest. Needs a driver side cab corner replaced. Only rust on the truck. I have the corner its actually ground off and marked for cutting. But I never cut it out... Working out of town has put a damper on my projects that aren't immediate need.

Wives are always telling stories about "hoarding", but - chuck one piece away and you'll need it! That's my experience.

Nice truck I got an 01 same thing only step side bed. Want to go for the mini lightning look.

They are great little trucks. My dad bought this one brand new in 99. I think he paid like 8,000 for it on some left over blow oit sale. He drove it for a year and parked it in the garage then moved it to the back field and left it till 2009. I went down one day and he was dragging it out of the weeds on 4 flat tires with the tractor. I asked him what he was doing with it. He said he was hauling it to the scrap yard. It had 20k miles on it.

I told him if he was doing that I'd give him scrap value for it and he said just take it.

4 new tires
New spring hangers and shackles(springs were broke off and in the bed)
All new brake lines
New plugs
New antifreeze
New lubes in all lubed things.
New filters
New calipers rotors and pads
Scrubbed it down inside and out.
Machine buff and wax

She was ready to go! Now it has 117k on it. Truck has made many long trips to pick up tractors and minibikes.

Now I want to go put new tags and insurance on it and start driving it again!
