With everyone posting pictures of their garden I thought I would share a few of mine.

Yes I know I have weeds, I can't keep up.

Potatoes will be ready in a week or two.

Corn is coming along nicely.

My version of the three sisters. Don't know if this works or not, just an experiment.

Finally starting to harvest a few things.

Broccoli and Zucchini. Broccoli is huge over 6" across.

Sugar pod peas, been picking these for a few weeks. 2 x 10' row gives enough for a meal every 2-3 days.

IMG_0936.JPG

Onions. Not the biggest, but they needed to come out before they rotted and I needed room for another planting of radishes.

IMG_0934.JPG

May even get a watermelon or 2

That's all for now, thanks for looking.

At least you can find the garden. I have two patches that you will never see till I can spend a day or two pulling weeds.

Being the weather has cooled a bit, it was time to pull a few weeds.

Found the tater patch and started to dig. This particular plant was loaded. Only half of the spuds it produced are in the picture.

Some really big ones. Yukon gold's and Pontiac reds? Wife fried up some of the golds along with some broccoli for diner; very tasty. Sorry no pictures, didn't last long enough.

Only picked about half of the total patch. All these came from an area of ~7x10, roughly 24 plants. Didn't weigh them, but guessing over 50 lbs. My arms were tired by the time I got back to the house.

Still more to dig, somewhere under all those weeds.

Over all the garden has done very well this year. Zucchini is about done. Plants were almost 3 feet high by 6 foot wide. Gave away lots and ate even more. Corn was not a bumper crop, but produced nice edible ears, A few meals and ~ 3 dozen in the freezer. Last planting is just now at the tassel stage. Tomatoes are starting to come on strong.

Thanks for looking.

Here is a picture from a couple of days ago. Dug up the last of the taters. Overall not a bad year; ended up with a total of 4 full grocery bags.

Last planting of corn was very small, but still good eating.

Thanks for looking.

It looks like a Cornucopia.
