At one time, I was very involved in MH Tractors. I enjoyed the simplicity and the durability and I enjoyed spending time as a family at these shows. I am not an expert, but I could hold my own in conversation.
I may be wrong, but I would be more surprised than you if that was actually an experimental...
As for the tag difference, I've never heard of that. I will look at a couple of 101 tractors over the weekend and see if any have steel.

I've attached a couple pictures of pages from a good reference book. The 102 jr and sr are both shown.
Sorry they are turned sideways, working with limited connectivity and low tech tonight.

did you happen to ask around on the tag thing ?

so far, no one remembers hearing that.
Was at a show and brought it up
