i was going to sell my 317's yesterday , today i find a 317 with a pto driven tiller a 42" blade new ag tires . the tractor is in very very good shape with low hours and now im not sure what to do the dern tiller looks new . so if i buy this 317 i should keep the other two . one for parts and the other is a good tractor it just vibrates a little .

Sounds like the perfect herd if you're into green! Having 2 runners & a parts tractor, all the same model is perfect!

Yeah, that is a prime situation having three of a kind. But what you should really do is give them all to me, that will solve everyone's problem. Lol

I think that is a pretty good idea :D

On a serious note I think you should get it, can't beat having three of the same kind. Almost guaranteed to always have one running.

Ag tires make a great addition to the tractor. Much better grip gets the power to the ground. They'll plow without the need for chains (no destroying your driveway with them). What kind of blade is the 42? The correct blade for the 317 is a 56". Keep oil in those engines, and the 317 is a great tractor.

That is a bummer about the deal. It does suck when people can't just be honest about stuff. There are still a lot of good people out there though that do business by their word. I think it will all work out better for you in the end and a better deal will come along.
