Think my seal is leaking but it had like string wrapped around the axle...so I don't know if the string cause it to leak.

But might as well change the seal if I can?

I believe they have to have the case separated. If someone has a better way, please speak up.
The tranny isn't all that hard to remove. Tahoe did a good article on the home page on how it comes out.
Also, you're missing a clip pin on the three point arm.

If the case has to be split. I'll leave it alone for now. I just got this thing and need to mow with it.

If you can get the hub off the axle, you can probably change it without splitting.

10-4 sounds perfect.

Hey, also what do yall think of these carb needles? Do they look bad? Or ok?

I have not had to change one, but I do not think the case has to be split. Getting the old one out is the bear though without knicking up the axle. The new one will slide over and can be "pressed' in with a piece of pipe and hammer the same size as seal.
