What is under the s&g? My soil is very poor and has big rocks too. I screen it and add lots of manure and leaves. It takes a year but it gets pretty good. Collect up manure and create a composte pile. Add the composte between plantings. With that big of a garden you will need more tractors.  Good Luck, Rick

It some good looking soil underneath it so packed down from horses it probably need plowing a few times before planting
