The but on the pulley was not centered. The threads are also stripped and there was not a key in the shaft. Starter was turning and then getting slowed down by the pulley rubbing against the housing. Maybe someone dropped this on the ground. Is it worth it to rebuild or shall I get a new one?

You could just replace the armature or while its apart it may be more feasible  get it completely rebuilt while its apart.

Is your pulley still good?

Its scored a little bit but it is a double pulley so it can run the front loader. My phone is not letting me upload any more pictures. I will send some later.

So I bought the new starter generator and pit my pulley on it. It looks like the pulley itself is damaged, as seen in the picture. Anyone know where to get a double pulley? Also I put the but that came with the new starter on a little ways and it spins on the shaft square until like its on the shaft 3/4" and then it starts rotating awkwardly?
