I'm wondering if there is something I can put back over the windings on this clutch?
I guess first I should ask if I can test to make sure it still works? PO had it switch disconnected but he said it was switch issue. Anyway, I thought maybe the liquid electrical tape?
I thought I read on here recently someone said on another thread pour some hot tar over one....?

I use either epoxy or fiberglass resin. I don't advise JB Weld as it contains tiny metal flecks that may cause problems electrically.

I checked JB with an ohm meter set to the lowest ohm setting, where you can get a reading just by touching the leads. and couldn't find any resistance in JB tith the probes almost touching each other. epoxy or fiberglass resin would be fine too.

The only reason I mentioned JB as a possible problem is because when using it to reglue starter magnets back in, it drew the glue to the magnets. But I never tested after curing.
