I went to see member jpcubs today. Johnny and I have been friends since we joined this forum. He had a few things I wanted and it's always an adventure to tour his grounds. So many tractors, so little funds! Anyway, I brought home a set of Bolens 50# weights, a 3-point A-Frame, one muffler that may work for an Onan, and a Kohler oil pan that will work on a JD. Also put in dibs on some other items to be revealed later on.

Here's some pics of what I brought home.

I found out I cannot use these weights on the FF's or the Ford. The wheels are not deep enough for that to happen.

Not sure what to do now!

Kenny, could you make spacers out of a piece of large diameter pipe to put behind the weights?

The centers of these are right over the lug bolts, so a spacer is out of the question. Out around the edge, yes you could use a spacer, but the weights would stick out like the 75# plastic weights I already have.

I see your point Kenny. Weights sticking way out can be a burden when you need to get the rear tire close to something. I've had plastic weights bump into rocks before when cutting it close.

You can not lose on those weights. Just hold onto them. Good Luck, Rick

Got pics?

On the A-Frame, I am going to make another plate (3/8" thick) to bolt on and put a 2" ball on it. I need an easier way to move the trailer and 2-Ton hoist when needed.

I got the A-Frame finished and painted. Think this will work just fine!
