I am going to be cooking this weekend to practice and experiment prior to the first contest that coming up in April.
I am going to be cooking chicken, ribs, pork butts, and beef brisket.
I will be loading the big cuts (butts and briskets) Saturday evening and they will cook all night. Ribs will be going on at 5:00 AM Sunday.
I went meat shopping last night and bought 14 pounds of chicken thighs, 3 racks of spare ribs, 71 pounds of pork butts, and 2 briskets that weigh a total of 14 pounds.
The 71 pounds of pork butts with yield about 35 pounds of pulled pork.
Tune back in Monday for some food porn.

Sounds like a party! I think I'll bring my rig over and crash the party. :)
Actually, I've been looking forward to cooking this weekend for a while now! I'm just doing up around 6lbs of chicken, 13lbs of brisket, 3 racks of baby backs, and maybe 60lbs of pork...don't know for sure yet. I'll be there as soon as I can after work...depends on how much I can get packed up this evening.
Let the cooking begin!!

Thanks for having me out for the cook, Chuck! Your pictures look almost as good as it all tasted. I had a great time and got to do another episode of Rhino's Road Trip. I have posted the video (in 4 segments) on YouTube at http://www.RhinoRoadTrip.com , and on my Facebook page (in 2 segments) at http://www.facebook.com/banditbbq .
