Are these prices code for something else or is this seller just really really proud of his parts?

"Whoa, look at our prices! Did we go crazy? Almost!

But before we did, we booked our yearly much-needed vacation to New Hampshire! We're packing up Mom, Dad, and the kids and leaving our eBay store behind for a while!

My 13-year old "boss" told Dad to raise the prices by $5,000 so everyone can see the great stuff we offer but won't be tempted to buy while we're resting on Lake Winnipesaukeee. Plus, as Junior reasoned, when we get back and cut prices back down to normal, they'll look extra-tempting! We like how that kid thinks!

So, we took his advice and promised him that Dad won't embarrass him with black socks and sandals this year. We'll be back on July 13th and hope to see you then!

Well I looked at his feed back and things he sold in the past and everything looked pretty normal.  So I am thinking either someone has hacked his account and is screwing with him or he needs a new keyboard or he has flipped his wig.  Not sure but I bet he doesn't sell much of that stuff.  Maybe he's trolling for "suckers"  he only needs to catch one.

On his store front page he explains why he posted them so high. Hes keeping it there til he comes back from vacation then the normal prices will resume

Found that on his ebay store page.

He sure is going to have some nasty fees if he sells anything.

That was some smart thinking.

For and extra $5000 the fees would be worth it!

All of waste of Bandwith and space crapping it up with this stuff!  NO excuse, specially if you are a regular seller. Think should be some penalty from epay for something like this! :shoot2:

He would either have to cancel all his auctions and relist when he came home or end up with a dozen bad feedbacks because of slow shipping.

Even if you deduct the 5000 it's still a bunch of overpriced junk

Have you worked on or bought parts for farm tractors before?  His prices minus the 5000 are more than fair.

One of two things going on here...

#1. He said , "Yes dear I ill sell all my junk on E-bay" and posted these prices, or

#2. He needs $5,000 for some repair or purchase.

I made note to him on the sale sight and now banned from any purchases from him or his store. He didn't like what I said. Oh, well, I'm just about done with this stuff anyway!  :smilewink:
